Q:What's for Dinner? A:Reservations!

Are you wondering what to make for dinner?  It's too hot to turn on the oven or heat up the pan, and who wants to do the dishes anyway?  Make a reservation. . . at Cedar!  And be sure to save room for dessert.

This week for our Taste of the Season menu, we are featuring:

Course I:
Crispy Pork Belly with Watermelon, Jalapeno Jelly and Chermoula

Marinated Calamari with Greek Yogurt, Baby Heirloom Tomatoes and Pepquino Cucumbers

Course II:
Grilled Halibut with Chorizo-Bell Pepper Stew and Potato Rissole
Beef Tenderloin with Truffled Zucchini-Corn Risotto and Garlic-Parsley Butter

Course III:
Blueberry-Almond Crumble Tart with Sweet Corn Ice Cream

Valrhona Chocolate Pound Cake with Fresh Berries and Candied Hazelnut

Overheard in the kitchen today:  the chefs are planning for an all new Taste of the Season menu for Monday, August 9th.  There will be Heirloom Tomato Salad with Ricotta, Prawns with Pickled Watermelon, Skate Wing, and Blue Cheese-Crusted Pork Chops with Figs and Fresh Corn Polenta.

And for the last course, save room for a Peach-Vanilla Cake and a summery take on PB & J--a Peanut Butter Ice Cream Sandwich with Berry Compote.
